Step-by-Step Performance Guide
The Lobby & Hosting
Select Battle of Wits in the Arena. As the host, you'll get a unique 4-letter room code. Up to 8 players can join by entering this code and their chosen name on their own mobile devices or laptops. This is a pure lobby game—every player needs their own screen.
The Writing Phase
Once the game starts, everyone receives a funny, open-ended prompt (e.g., 'The worst thing to find in your sandwich'). You have 30 seconds to type the funniest, weirdest, or most clever answer possible. Speed counts, but quality wins votes. If you don't submit in time, your answer is blank!
The Voting Arena
All submitted answers are displayed anonymously on the main screen and on every player's device. Read through them and vote for the one that actually makes you laugh. The twist? You cannot vote for your own answer—so make sure yours stands out!
The Big Reveal
This is the highlight of the game. The app reveals who wrote what and exactly how many votes each answer received. Points are distributed immediately, and the leaderboard updates in real-time. This is where the trash-talking and laughter truly begin.
The Final Round High-Stakes
A standard game lasts 3 rounds. The final round is special—the stakes are doubled. Every vote you receive in the final round is worth 100 points instead of the usual 50. Use this round to make a massive comeback and take the crown!
Scoring Protocol
- • Rounds 1 & 2: +50 Points per vote received
- • Final Round: +100 Points per vote received
- • Failure to Vote: -10 Point penalty (Don't be that person!)
- • Perfect Round: Getting all votes gives you a 'Sweep' bonus.
